From Weardale, England, this is a clean plate of nearly clear Fluorite crystals, aside from a little violet color visible in daylight.  The daylight color illustrates that this piece is NOT from the Rogerley Mine but is from a much older mining operation.  The color under all wavelengths of UV is blue-violet, but is particularly bright under longwave.  In order to photograph this piece I had to turn down the intensity of the UV quite a bit, which gave better definition to the crystals but also created some dark areas that aren't actually there.  Aside from the large black area in the upper left this piece is nearly uniform violet in person.  It daylight it shows a nice light violet color.  Dimensions are 5 x 4 x 1 inches.  Price: $65
